Christmas has always been traditional. Trimmings and stuffing, perfectly wrapped gifts, extravagantly (and ridiculously) decorated malls, and worst of all, the repeated times you hear saccharine and overly happy Christmas songs. 

We're sick of hearing Jingle Bell Rock as much as you do. All this Christmas sap in departmental stores is making us feel angsty. So we decided to take matters into our own hands one week before Christmas, and came up with another sort of Christmassy playlist! We've put Sufjan Stevens twice here because the dude's obsessed with Christmas, Julian Casablancas makes an appearance, a lo-fi version of an otherwise creepy/clingy song (Baby It's Cold Outside) - it's very merry still, just not quite traditional.
