BTS are officially coming back — and the world is already counting down the days.

In a livestream on 1 July, all seven members of BTS reunited on Weverse, marking their first live group appearance since completing their military service. And they didn’t just show up — they came bearing major news.

The 21st century pop icons revealed plans for a brand-new album and world tour, set to launch in spring 2026, setting off a wave of excitement from ARMYs across the globe. Starting this July, the group will begin working on new music in the U.S., with all members actively participating in the creative process.

“We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year,” they shared. “Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”

The upcoming tour will be BTS’ first global run since their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE shows wrapped in 2022, a record-breaking tour that drew over four million fans through in-person and digital events.

As for the rest of 2025, BTS still has big things on the horizon. Jin just wrapped his emotional #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in Goyang, Korea last weekend, with members and fans alike praising his standout piano performance. Meanwhile, j-hope is gearing up for a headlining set at Lollapalooza Berlin on 13 July, following the buzz of his HOPE ON THE STAGE tour.

The 30-minute livestream drew over 7.3 million real-time views, proving just how hungry the world is for BTS’s return. If today was any indication, 2026 is shaping up to be the year of BTS.
