BTS have once again proven that no one transforms a city quite like they do. Over the weekend, the global superstars kicked off their sold-out BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN NORTH AMERICA run at Allegiant Stadium, turning Las Vegas into a full-scale celebration of music, fandom, and Korean culture.

Drawing an estimated 250,000 fans across four nights, the Las Vegas stop felt less like a concert series and more like a citywide cultural phenomenon. Performed on a massive 360-degree stage, opening night erupted with roaring cheers as the group launched into ‘Hooligan’, immediately setting the tone for the multi-night spectacle.

One of the biggest crowd moments came during the surprise random song segment, when BTS revisited fan-favourites ‘Permission to Dance’ and ‘Go Go’. The nostalgic selections instantly transported fans back to the group’s unforgettable 2022 Las Vegas shows, with the stadium singing along at full volume.

But the emotional peak of the night arrived during ‘Body to Body’, when thousands of fans joined together in a powerful rendition of the traditional Korean folk song ‘Arirang’. In that moment, Allegiant Stadium transformed into something bigger than a concert venue — becoming a shared cultural space where Korean heritage resonated across a global audience.

Beyond the stadium itself, Las Vegas has fully embraced the group through BTS THE CITY ARIRANG LAS VEGAS, an immersive citywide activation running from 20 May to 31 May. From glowing red Strip illuminations and BTS-themed Sphere visuals to branded monorails and after-parties, nearly every corner of the city has been touched by the group’s presence.

Fans can also explore pop-ups, themed dining collaborations, digital art exhibitions, and a citywide stamp rally tied to the activation. The experience builds on HYBE’s growing THE CITY concept, extending BTS’ storytelling far beyond the concert venue and into the everyday rhythm of the city itself.

With four sold-out nights, glowing landmarks, and thousands of ARMY flooding the Strip in purple, BTS didn’t just perform in Las Vegas — they completely took it over.
