eaJ is back—and he’s louder, sharper, and more fearless than ever.
Marking a fiery new chapter, the alt-pop artist has dropped his latest EP, 1, via Position Music. Known for tugging heartstrings and pushing sonic limits, this four-track release dives deep into emotional extremes and genre-defying experimentation.
At the center of it all is 'RED', the EP's explosive lead single. Originally crafted for Tencent’s high-octane video game Arena Breakout: Infinite, the track surges with searing guitars, adrenaline-fueled vocals, and production firepower from Jorgen Odegard (Justin Bieber’s ‘Holy’). It’s a song that crackles with urgency—built to blast through headphones and gaming headsets alike.
Alongside the chaos comes contrast. From the gritty intensity of 'ruin my life' and the emotional whirl of 'merry go round', 1 finds a moment of clarity in ‘pause’—a soft landing that lets listeners catch their breath before the storm rolls in again.
The EP arrives after a milestone year for eaJ, who toured across Asia, hit stadiums with Imagine Dragons, and released the introspective when the rain stopped following me. Now, with 1, he’s lighting a new fuse—and it’s burning bright.
