Fujii Kaze has dropped a brand-new single, ‘My Place’, contributing to the first-ever original soundtrack for the World Baseball Classic.
The track arrives as part of a landmark collaboration between Major League Baseball and global artists for the tournament’s inaugural soundtrack project. ‘My Place’ was produced by two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Tainy and released via Republic Records.
Serving as the official soundtrack for the tournament’s host city of Tokyo, ‘My Place’ channels themes of identity, unity, and perseverance. The uplifting anthem also celebrates Japan as the reigning champion nation of the World Baseball Classic, capturing the spirit of international competition through Kaze’s genre-blending sound.
The release follows a major run of global milestones for the Japanese artist. Earlier this year, he made a highly anticipated appearance at Lollapalooza Mumbai and is set to make his debut at Coachella next month.
In 2025, Kaze wrapped his first U.S. tour with sold-out shows including the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and festival after-shows at Lollapalooza Chicago and Outside Lands. He also joined Billie Eilish as a special guest during the Tokyo stop of her HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR.
