Following a wave of global excitement across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, the announcement of Vietnam as one of the tour stops has sent fans into a frenzy and industry professionals into awe. Realising a world-class tour of this scale involves an extraordinary level of planning and coordination — from stage design and sound systems that meet international standards to top-tier security and logistics.

According to Dr. Bui Quoc Viet, former member of the Independent Consulting Council of the Vietnam Tourism Association, hosting a concert of this calibre requires not just financial power but also “proven management expertise, brand credibility, and the ability to meet international service standards for hundreds of thousands of spectators.”

That challenge has been met by 8Wonder, the mega-festival brand under Vingroup, which has successfully elevated Vietnam’s concert landscape in just three years. Having already hosted major global names such as Charlie Puth, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, J Balvin, DJ Snake, and The Kid Laroi, 8Wonder has solidified its position as a top-tier regional organiser capable of executing large-scale, world-standard events.

Performance art researcher Dinh Tien Dat credited 8Wonder’s success to Vingroup’s dual strengths — financial power and an integrated tourism, entertainment, and hospitality ecosystem — allowing each concert to become a holistic experience where music, travel, dining, and leisure blend seamlessly. “If not 8Wonder, no one could have done it,” added Dr. Viet.

The inclusion of Vietnam on G-DRAGON’s 2025 tour schedule signals more than a concert — it’s a declaration of the country’s readiness to join the global entertainment map. Experts predict a significant tourism boost as thousands of fans, including international visitors, are expected to converge for the event, showcasing a youthful and dynamic Vietnam to the world.
