Named after the musical term that means “to pause briefly,” Fermata captures a powerful message — that stopping to breathe isn’t a weakness, but a step toward moving forward.

The release features two heartfelt tracks:

‘Escape To Me (Running Away Is Shameful, But…)’ – An alternative hip-hop track laced with emotional piano melodies, break beats, and gritty electric guitar. First heard during GOT7’s concert in Thailand, the track’s candid message — "it's okay to run away" — resonated deeply with fans.

‘HERE WE GO’ – A self-written and composed track by YOUNGJAE that shifts the mood with acoustic warmth and full-band energy. Its uplifting line, "It's not scary when we're together," echoes themes of solidarity and hope.
“This album is my way of saying it’s okay to stop, and it’s okay to run away. What’s important is finding the strength to keep going,” YOUNGJAE shares.
Since his 2014 debut with GOT7, YOUNGJAE has cemented his status as one of K-pop’s most emotive vocalists. From his solo debut COLORS from Ars, to SUGAR and his full-length record Do It, YOUNGJAE continues to evolve while staying true to his emotional core.
