Hikaru Utada has officially released 'First Love – From THE FIRST TAKE', a special recording of their iconic 1999 single for Japan’s leading music performance channel on YouTube.
In May, Utada made their debut appearance on the THE FIRST TAKE, delivering powerful one-take performances of two songs: Utada’s latest single 'Mine or Yours' and their emotional hit 'First Love'.
The 'First Love' performance quickly captured global attention, amassing over 8 million views and reaching the top spot on YouTube’s trending chart shortly after its release.
Additionally, to celebrate the release, a live performance video of 'First Love' from last year’s HIKARU UTADA SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024 has also been made available on YouTube.
