'Mature' proves to be one of the more personal tracks on the album as it was co-written by Hilary and her husband, GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter/producer Matthew Koma alongside Madison Love. The chart became a sensation within the first week that it was released amassing over five million streams. The infectious beat and quintessentially Hilary Duff sound reignited the passionate fans who have followed her journey from day one and even invited some new listeners on board.

The song emerges as a semi-autobiographical take on her youthful romantic missteps, wrapped in vibrant pop textures and infused with Duff’s familiar wit and emotional openness. Taking the lead from the intimate tune that sees Hilary bare her soul, the accompanying music video directed by Lauren Dunn has garnered over two million views representing the delicate nature of her past self and how that helped her bloom into the version of herself she is today.
Hilary explains what the album represents to her as an artist as she shares the story and inspiration behind it saying, "In interviews I constantly get asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry, the album title is my way of answering that question, which felt right for a record that’s about where I’ve landed and all the things I’ve been through along the way”.
Hilary returns to the stage this January as she unveils luck…or something through the sold-out Small Rooms, Big Nerves tour across the UK and US — her first headlining run in more than a decade.
