HYBE is stepping into a new chapter. On 13 May, the entertainment giant unveiled a new mission statement, vision, and Corporate Identity (CI), signalling its long-term plans for growth across music, technology, and fan experiences.

The company’s new mission statement now reads: “DISCOVER A NEW UNIVERSE, UNLOCK AN IMMERSIVE JOURNEY.”

According to HYBE, the updated mission reflects its commitment to creating immersive experiences through artists, content, and services — allowing fans to discover “new tastes, identities, and worlds.” The company also shared that it aims to continue delivering experiences that evolve alongside changing generations and entertainment trends.

Its previous mission statement, “We believe in Music,” will still remain as a guiding principle for HYBE’s music businesses and creative direction.

Alongside the new mission, HYBE also introduced a refreshed vision statement: “GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT LIFESTYLE PLATFORM COMPANY BASED ON MUSIC AND TECHNOLOGY.”

The biggest shift in the new vision is the addition of “technology,” reinforcing HYBE’s ambitions beyond traditional music operations. The company explained that while music and fans remain at the heart of its business, technology will play a key role in expanding fan experiences and pushing the entertainment industry forward.

“While music and fans remain at the core and utmost priority, the new vision encapsulates our commitment to advancing the industry by incorporating necessary technology to expand the boundaries of the fan experience,” HYBE shared in a statement.

The company added that it plans to deepen fan connections through platforms powered by “world-class music and content,” further building an entertainment lifestyle ecosystem centred around fans.

In line with the announcement, HYBE also revealed updates to its Corporate Identity. Previously, the company used its wordmark, symbol, and mission statement together as part of its branding system. Moving forward, the “HYBE” wordmark and “H” symbol will be used independently.

The rebrand follows HYBE’s “HYBE 2.0” strategy, first announced in August 2024. The initiative reorganised the company’s business into three core pillars: Music, Platform, and tech-driven future growth initiatives — all designed to strengthen HYBE’s position in the rapidly evolving entertainment landscape.

“This brand renewal reflects HYBE’s direction for new growth,” the company said. “Built on music and technology, HYBE will continue to expand fan experiences, create new possibilities, and help define what’s next for the global entertainment industry.”
