The wait is finally over as Sailing Before The Wind has released their highly anticipated debut album Destination, 15 years since the formation of the band.

The Japanese metalcore band first debuted in 2011, quickly establishing their trademark sound defined by impactful instrumentals, killer melodies, and scalding lyrics that portrayed the band’s raw and authentic sound. In 2025, they deliver that signature sound that they have solidified with each release leading up to Destination.
The 10-track record features tracks such as ‘Fire Rainbow’, ‘Requiem’, ‘Lemuria’, ‘Alchemist’, ‘Curtain Call’, and ‘Picture Perfect’. Four tracks on the album feature star-studded collaborators — elevating the listening experience with sonic diversity as their individual sound merges with the distinct style of Sailing Before The Wind.
Some noteworthy appearances include Michael Felker of Convictions for the title track 'Destination', Vandans featured on 'Shapeless Heart', Don Tuer of Dead Days on the track 'Breathtaking', and BVNE of NORMUNDY on the song 'Dreamchaser'.
