Japanese artist KAF has teamed up with several acclaimed artists from Japan’s music scene to create a remixed version of her fourth album, Fable, infusing it with a versatile mix of genres—now released as Fable γ.
Since her debut in 2018, KAF has been creating music to establish her signature powerful and genre-blending style, leading her to become one of Japan's most prominent virtual singers. In 2024, she released her fourth full-length album, Fable, which showcased her amazing vocal talents and growth as an artist through her experiementation with a different producer for each track.
Fable γ features tracks in various genres—from PASOCOM MUSIC CLUB’s electrifying, house-inspired take on 'Tree of Gold,' to a jazzy interpretation of 'Swimmer' by takichi, and TORIENA’s rework of 'Positive Substitution,' which blends rave and hard techno sounds.
Other noteworthy collaborations on the album include seasoned Vocaloid producer cosMo@Bousou-P and multifaceted Japanese producer tokiwa.
The release of Fable γ is the latest highlight in KAF's eventful summer, during which she had her first-ever North American concert at Chicago’s Anime Central in May, performed a set at Jakarta's Anime Festival Asia in June, and appeared at Fantastic Reality in Los Angeles in July.
Another memorable venture was her performance alongside fellow virtual trailblazer Mori Calliope at Osaka’s Expo 2025 in July, which paved the way for an upcoming release from the pair as part of KAF’s Suite 2 collaboration series.
Fable γ is available now on all major streaming services as well as KAF’s official Bandcamp.
