KATSEYE are stepping into their boldest era yet with the release of their new EP Beautiful Chaos released via HYBE x Geffen Records. The five-track collection explores the emotional turbulence of carving out identity in a world ruled by curated content and filtered realities. It's a project that leans into contradictions — polish and rawness, precision and rebellion — and in doing so, finds power in vulnerability.

Following the success of their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong), which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists and Heatseekers Albums charts, Beautiful Chaos marks a turning point for the six-member global girl group. Made up of Daniela (Cuban/Venezuelan-American), Lara (Indian), Manon (Ghanaian-Italian), Megan (Singaporean Chinese-American), Sophia (Filipina), and Yoonchae (Korean), the group first came together through HYBE and Geffen Records’ The Dream Academy and the Netflix docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.

Leading the new era is the single ‘Gameboy’, a sugary yet snarky anthem that the group calls the “big sister” of ‘Touch’, one of the fan-favourites from SIS. Produced by KillaGraham, ‘Gameboy’ channels playful dominance with a hyper-feminine edge — and its official music video doubles down on that energy with high-gloss visuals and attitude to match.

The rest of Beautiful Chaos shows just how versatile KATSEYE can be. On ‘Gnarly’, they flirt with hyperpop chaos in a track that’s already being hailed as a potential song of the summer. ‘Gabriela’, a haunting synth-pop track with Latin acoustic textures, adds a cinematic layer to their sound, with its Jessica Alba-starring music video racking up over 10 million views in three days. There’s also ‘Mean Girls’, an anthem of grace under pressure, and ‘M.I.A’, which brings big energy and bigger beats to the theme of self-worth.
