Kuala Lumpur is set to take centre stage as one of Asia’s leading destinations for live entertainment with the launch of KL Headline Season 2026, a new city-wide concert initiative that promises some of the biggest international tours to hit Malaysia.
Led by Live Nation Malaysia in collaboration with PR Worldwide, Tourism Malaysia, and CelcomDigi, the programme will bring 25 international performances across six major venues throughout 2026. More than 500,000 concertgoers from Malaysia and across the region are expected to attend, further cementing Kuala Lumpur's position as a growing hub for global live music.
Among the artists slated to perform during the season are LANY, Laufey, Daniel Caesar, TREASURE, Post Malone, The Weeknd, and BTS, making it one of Kuala Lumpur's most ambitious concert line-ups to date.

Beyond the music, KL Headline Season forms part of Malaysia's wider tourism push under Visit Malaysia 2026. The initiative highlights how major live events continue to drive travel, hospitality, and cultural experiences, encouraging fans to explore the city while attending world-class performances.
Speaking on the initiative, YB Puan Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan, Minister of the Federal Territories, shared that large-scale concerts and live events play an important role in strengthening Malaysia's tourism ecosystem. By attracting international visitors, these events also support hotels, local businesses, and the wider economy.
Paramananthan Rajagopal, Managing Director of Live Nation Malaysia, added that KL Headline Season is about bringing global artists closer to fans while establishing Kuala Lumpur as a regular stop on Asia's touring circuit.

With its strategic location within a four-hour flight radius of many major Asian cities, Kuala Lumpur has increasingly become an attractive destination for both international artists and travelling fans. As more large-scale productions make their way to Malaysia, KL Headline Season 2026 signals a new chapter for the country's live entertainment landscape.
The campaign arrives with a simple but ambitious message: One Season. One City. Endless Live Experiences.
