MANG x DAOU are taking ‘Aroma’ to the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia.

The duo won Thailand’s Chosen One, the country’s national selection show, at Centerpoint Entertainment in Bangkok on 27 September. They will represent host nation Thailand at the Grand Final at One Bangkok Forum on 14 November, competing alongside artists from 10 other countries.

MANG, LIT Entertainment’s first female solo artist, brings powerful vocals and a T-pop sound infused with Thai influences. DAOU Pittaya is a singer, actor, and MC who took first place on LazIcon. Their collaboration draws on both artists’ strengths while placing Thai culture at its centre.

“We’ve put so many Thai elements into the song, and we hope people in other countries will discover what Thailand is through it,” said MANG. “This is a moment in history for me and one of the greatest opportunities of my life. We’re so excited, and we’ll do our very best.”

DAOU added: “Our culture has so many different sides that we can share, and now that we’ve won, we’ll do everything we can to represent Thai style on this big stage. Thailand is the host, and we want to make it a surprise for everyone.”

The duo join representatives selected from Bhutan, the Philippines, South Korea, Laos, and Malaysia. The national selection schedule also includes Nepal Decides on 7 October, Mongolia’s Chosen One on 10 October, and Cambodia’s Finest Voice on 17 October. Fans can watch the selection shows on the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel and vote through the Eurovision Asia website.

For fans heading to Bangkok, general ticket sales opened on 2 October, following a Eurofan presale the day before. Tickets are offered for both the televised Grand Final and a Preview Show rehearsal, with access through Thailand Megatix:

  • Grand Final: Prices start at approximately THB 1,670

  • Preview Show rehearsal: Prices start at approximately THB 1,170

“Eurovision Song Contest Asia provides a unique platform for artists from across the region to showcase their music, creativity and cultural identity on one stage,” said Executive Producer Assaf Blecher. “We are delighted to welcome Thailand’s chosen representatives to One Bangkok Forum this November, where they will compete alongside artists from 10 other countries across the region.”
