Having only released a trio of mini albums since their debut, Ode To Love signals a shift toward something bigger as they expand their artistry toward tackling full scale projects and experimenting with new sonic textures. The title track 'Ode To Love' samples the 1994 hit 'Ode to My Family' by The Cranberries with the catchy "du-dudu-du" hook. The track exudes a poignant message of kindness with its warm uplifting tone that weaves in NCT WISH's playful and fun musical style.

In the accompanying music video to the track, the plays into the narrative of the track using pastel imagery and accompanying visuals such as fluttering butterflies and adorable baby sheep. The sextet pulls out their killer dance moves in a beautiful dollhouse inspired backdrop and in the enchanting woods giving the video a touch of whimsy and magic.

The album opens with a bang as '2.0 (TWO POINT O)' presents a high-octane hyper-pop inspired sound that complete with a thumping bass as it blends new jack swing, hip-hop, and rock elements in a genre defying track that seamlessly compliments their standout vocals and harmonies. Another pre-release single is 'Sticky' which is a bossa nova track with a twist as it blends hip hop elements in a contrasting sonic arrangement. 'Feel The Beat' captures the freedom of getting lost in music, while 'Crush' draws a cinematic parallel between love and a sudden sunshower.

The album features a perfect dance break with two back to back hip-hop bangers 'Street (2AM)' and 'Glow Up' that are sure to get you moving. Staying true to the diverse sound that this album presents these two tracks are also not what they seem. 'Street (2AM)' infuses smooth jazz tones into a retro hip-hop tone creating intriguing sonic textures while 'Glow Up' fuses nostalgic ‘90s boom-bap with futuristic electronic elements while being a testament to NCT WISH's everlasting message of focusing on your own path without being wavered by external opinions or being crushed under the weight of expectations.

The dance pop track 'Everglow' captures the same uplifting vibe as it emphasises the importance of finding someone who encourages you to grow and becoming a beacon of light for each other when times get tough. Shifting toward an R&B tone, 'Don’t Say You Love Me' presents a quiet confession capturing all the nerves and hesitation. The album closes with 'Voyage' blending pop balladry with modern rock touches the track conveys a message of hope and resilience.
