K-pop sensation NewJeans is on track for their much-anticipated return, with new developments unfolding in Copenhagen. The girl group, under their agency ADOR, has reportedly been spotted in the Danish city as part of preparations for new music. According to ADOR, the visit to Copenhagen is integral to the pre-production of their next musical chapter.

“The members are preparing for new activities in line with their individual conditions and schedules,” ADOR stated, adding that the group's time in Copenhagen is part of “embracing a new musical journey.” Fans have shared sightings of members Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein in Copenhagen, further fueling speculations that the group is gearing up for fresh recordings.

A confirmed studio reservation under NewJeans' name in Denmark added weight to these rumors, while fans continue to eagerly anticipate news of their return. Despite the excitement, ADOR has stated that it will officially share the group's future direction "when the time is right."

NewJeans debuted in 2022 under HYBE's subsidiary label ADOR as a quintet, quickly making a mark on the K-pop scene with their hit songs 'Attention', 'Hype Boy', and 'Cookie'. Their second EP, Get Up (2023), topped the Billboard 200 chart, further cementing their global success. However, their rise to fame was followed by a turbulent period involving a dispute with HYBE and former CEO Min Hee-jin. This led to a hiatus in March 2025, with a court injunction preventing the group from engaging in independent activities without HYBE’s approval.

Despite the challenges, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein made their return to the group in November 2025, while Minji’s return remains uncertain. ADOR confirmed in December 2025 that Danielle’s contract had been terminated, citing her role in the group's earlier departure and subsequent delays. The situation has been complicated further with ADOR’s legal actions, including a lawsuit for damages filed against Danielle.

As NewJeans enters a new phase in their career, fans are eagerly awaiting further details. While ADOR remains tight-lipped on specifics, the group’s pre-production in Copenhagen signals the beginning of what is sure to be another thrilling chapter for the K-pop icons.
