Rich Brian has just unveiled 'Oh Well', the latest and final single from his upcoming album WHERE IS MY HEAD?, dropping 15 August.
Trading in the hard-hitting energy of his previous track 'Jumpy (feat. Ski Mask The Slump God)' for a slower, more reflective sound, 'Oh Well' is a raw dive into heartbreak, laced with alternative R&B tones and hazy melodies. Self-produced and arranged by Brian himself, the track shows a softer, more vulnerable side of the Indonesian artist.
Directed by Jared Hogan, the accompanying visualizer not only underscores the emotional weight of the song, but also marks the end of Brian’s evolving personas — Maestro and Movie Brian — first seen in the videos for 'Little Ray of Light', 'Butterfly', and 'Jumpy'. With this release, Brian draws a curtain on that storyline, stepping into a new creative era.
'Oh Well' follows his electric return to the stage at Head In The Clouds Los Angeles, where he performed live for the first time in years to a crowd of 40,000 fans.
As anticipation builds for WHERE IS MY HEAD?, Brian asks a bold question: “How can I continue to make music that I love more than anything else?” With each release, he’s getting closer to an answer — and this track is no exception.
