Mandopop star Ricky Hsiao Huang Qi will be coming to Singapore for his first-ever concert.
Performing at Marina Bay Sands' Sands Theatre on 19 August, the Taiwanese singer-songwriter will serenade fans with hits like '末班車 (The Last Train)' and '上水的花 (The Most Beautiful Flower)'. Titled SEAT FOR LOVE, the concert is co-presented by Base Entertainment Asia and Dream Nation.
Despite losing vision in both of his eyes at the age of 15, the '迷路在雲端 (Lost In The Clouds)' act boasts a songwriting career that has spanned more than two decades, 15 albums and 19 Golden Melody Awards nominations. He made history by becoming the first visually-impaired singer to headline the Taipei Arena in 2016.
Outside of music, Hsiao is also a judo practitioner who has represented Taiwan in the 1996 Paralympic Games.
