SEVENTEEN are kicking off their next chapter with a bang. On 26 May, the K-pop juggernaut dropped their fifth studio album HAPPY BURSTDAY, marking their 10th anniversary with explosive energy and fearless reinvention.

The album title fuses “happy birthday” and “burst”—a nod to their bold rebirth. It’s their most ambitious yet, featuring 13 solo tracks (one by each member) and three group songs: the dance-pop anthem ‘THUNDER’, rock-charged ‘HBD’, and Pharrell-produced ‘Bad Influence (Prod. by Pharrell Williams)’. Timbaland also joins the star-studded production lineup.
The music video for ‘THUNDER’ dropped alongside the album, showing SEVENTEEN transformed into daredevils in the euphoric Blitz Club—a visual metaphor for their creative evolution.
“We hope listeners can experience a new side of SEVENTEEN,” shared leader S.COUPS, highlighting their drive to keep evolving after 10 years.
The group also made history on 25 May with BURST Stage @Jamsu Bridge, becoming the first K-pop act to perform at the Seoul landmark. Part of their 10TH ANNIVERSARY B-DAY PARTY pop-up, the event drew 200,000 fans on the day and over 350,000 across three days, with livestreams reaching 193 countries.
