Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is making its grand return to Asia — with Singapore as its only stop.
Opening 11 December at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, the all-new production stars Shubshri Kandiah as Belle and Brendan Xavier as the Beast, both familiar faces to Singapore’s Disney theatre fans. Shubshri previously played Princess Jasmine in Aladdin (2019), while Brendan charmed audiences as Kristoff in Frozen (2023).
Director and choreographer Matt West said the pair brought "fresh life to these iconic roles" during their acclaimed performances in Australia, and that Singapore audiences are in for a treat.

This marks the first Disney-produced version of Beauty and the Beast in over 25 years, promising a reimagined stage experience featuring breathtaking new sets, spellbinding costumes, and cutting-edge technology.
Based on the 1991 animated film, the musical will once again enchant audiences with Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice’s unforgettable soundtrack — including fan favourites like ‘Belle’, ‘Gaston’, ‘Be Our Guest’, and the title song ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
The production is presented in Singapore by Base Entertainment Asia, the team behind The Lion King, Aladdin, and Frozen.
