R&B singer-songwriter JUNNY has been selected as the latest artist to join Spotify’s RADAR KOREA program, just in time for the release of his second full-length album null on 20 August.

Known for his smooth vocals and genre-crossing sound, JUNNY currently draws in over 1.35 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He was previously featured in Spotify’s 2023 K-Night showcase at SXSW Sydney, and now, with RADAR KOREA’s backing, he’s set to connect with an even wider global audience.

Spotify’s RADAR initiative helps rising artists grow their reach through editorial curation, targeted marketing, and platform-wide promotion. Past Korean alumni include LE SSERAFIM, Zior Park, and BABYMONSTER, while international stars like Lauv, The Kid LAROI, and Tyla have also been part of the program.

“JUNNY is an artist we have long admired for his originality and versatility,” said Spotify. “Through RADAR KOREA, we look forward to amplifying his music to more listeners around the world.”

JUNNY shared his excitement as well: “I’m thrilled to reconnect with Spotify following the 2023 ‘Spotify House’ showcase. With the support from RADAR KOREA, I look forward to continuing to deliver positive energy to my listeners by creating music that reflects my own color and messages.”

Spotify’s RADAR KOREA recently expanded beyond K-pop to highlight talents across genres like R&B and indie, providing a bigger stage for Korea’s diverse music scene. Fans can follow @SpotifyKR on Instagram for exclusive RADAR content and updates.
