September Fever is back—and it’s going international. Returning to Cebu for its eighth edition on 6 September, the city’s premier indie music festival is leveling up with a cross-Asia lineup featuring artists from Singapore, South Korea, and Manila, alongside some of the Philippines’ best from the Visayas and Mindanao.
Happening this September, the fest is headlined by Singaporean indie rock faves Subsonic Eye, fresh off their fifth album Singapore Dreaming. Also topping the bill is Zeke Abella, Cebu’s own R&B star and influencer, and Hathaw9y, South Korea’s rising indie-pop darlings. Fans can also catch the reunion of Cebu indie legends Honeydrop for an exclusive performance.

Joining them are Dabda, the South Korean math rock act bringing their genre-blurring sound to Cebu; San the Wordsmith, a boundary-pushing rapper from Singapore; and a special joint set from Manila’s own Muri and crwn.
Representing the local scene are folk singer-songwriter Vincent Eco—who just repped the Philippines at Music Lane Okinawa—plus hip-hop crew Bakeshopboyz, surfpop band Sansette, Bisaya R&B artist Jericho Streegan, jazzpop outfit Cerise, and blues-fusion band Evita from Mindanao.

“It’s exciting to have 2025 as our first year to bring in international acts to the September Fever stage,” shares festival co-director Karl Lucente. “This lineup reflects our growth from regional showcase to a platform for Asian indie music discovery.”
Fans can also look forward to pocket shows and workshops on 7 September, set to take place across Cebu City.
Tickets for September Fever 8 are priced at PHP 550 for online purchases and PHP 650 for walk-ins. Fans are encouraged to secure their passes early via the official ticketing link here to enjoy the discounted rate and guarantee entry to one of Cebu’s most anticipated indie music events.
