The world’s most iconic ballet is gracing the Singapore stage in breathtaking form. On 16 October, Swan Lake comes to The Star Theatre, headlined by none other than Oksana Bondareva, a renowned soloist from Russia’s legendary Mariinsky Theatre.
In a role that has defined prima ballerinas for generations, Bondareva will step into the dual parts of Odette and Odile, a test of both emotional depth and technical precision. Having held principal roles with the Mariinsky Theatre, Mikhailovsky Theatre, and the Russian National Ballet, her rare Southeast Asia appearance is a dream come true for fans of classical ballet.

Presented by Crescendo Asia, the production will be performed by the esteemed Saint Petersburg National Ballet Theatre and follows a completely sold-out tour across the region in 2024.
“This isn’t just a ballet, it’s a cultural milestone,” says Dimitri Montalto, Director of Crescendo Asia. “With Oksana Bondareva in the lead, the Singapore performance becomes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness ballet royalty in action.”
