Thai alt-rock favourites Tilly Birds brought a softer, more vulnerable side of their music to Singapore with the latest stop of their I’ll Remember To Forget You: Through Layered Walls tour — and fans from across Southeast Asia showed up in full force for it.
Held at Swee Lee Clarke Quay, the stripped-down showcase traded massive stage production for warm lighting, vinyl-lined walls, and acoustic renditions of some of the band’s most beloved tracks. From the aching honesty of ‘White Pills’ to fan favourites like ‘Shouting Eyes’ and ‘Until Then’, the trio transformed the venue into what felt less like a concert and more like a communal listening session.

What made the evening even more memorable was the crowd itself. Fans from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand arrived early to exchange fan-made merchandise, write postcards, and connect with fellow listeners before the show began — turning the Singapore stop into a mini regional meetup for the band’s growing international community.
Throughout the set, Tilly Birds kept the atmosphere conversational and deeply personal, pausing between songs to answer audience questions and reflect on the experience. The band described the format as something they had “never done before,” and the intimate setup gave longtime listeners a rare chance to experience the emotional weight of their songwriting up close.

After closing the night with ‘Just Being Friendly’, the trio stayed behind to sign postcards and vinyl records, spending time with fans who had travelled across borders just to catch the show. In many ways, the evening captured exactly what makes Tilly Birds resonate beyond Thailand — heartfelt songwriting, genuine connection, and a fan community that continues to grow across Asia.
