TWS are turning up the energy with their brand new 4th mini album play hard. Known as K-pop’s “champions of youth,” the PLEDIS Entertainment sextet charge full-speed into this comeback, channeling the fearless passion and chaotic joy of growing up.
At the heart of the album is the lead single ‘OVERDRIVE’, a fiery anthem about diving headfirst into love — messy, bold, and all-consuming. The track embodies the thrill of being “overheated” with passion, mirroring the group’s emotional evolution from fresh-faced rookies to confident youth on the edge of something bigger.
The ‘OVERDRIVE’ music video — now out via HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel — plays like a love simulation game gone hilariously wrong. Each member makes a heartfelt attempt to confess their feelings, only to meet adorable failure: collapsing under gift overload, passing out after one sip of “liquor courage,” or literally falling into a manhole mid-call. Every respawn in their “confession simulator” is a blend of humour and heart, wrapping the chaos of first love in the group’s signature charm.
Across six tracks, play hard celebrates the many shades of TWS’ youth:
-
‘Head Shoulders Knees Toes’ – chasing dreams without limits
-
‘HOT BLUE SHOES’ – fiery energy painted in blue
-
‘Caffeine Rush’ – the dizzy blur of fascination
-
‘overthinking’ – learning to take that brave next step
-
‘Here For You’ – a tender message for their fans, 42s
After a breakout year that included their first concert and tour, TWS are back — brighter, bolder, and ready to prove they’re one of K-pop’s most exciting rising forces.
