Just when fans thought AXEAN Festival 2025 couldn't get any better, they announced a second wave of amazing artists joining the awesome lineup.
AXEAN Festival 2025 is making its return to Jimbaran Hub in Bali, Indonesia on 13 and 14 September. The first wave of artists included names such as the originator of the Budots genre DJ Love, energetic indie pop band DOOR PLANT, and acclaimed Singaporean music producer Fauxe.

The second wave of artists takes the AXEAN Festival to a new level by including uber-talented, homegrown Indonesian acts such as rising singer-songwriter Fanny Soegi. Known best for her collaboration with Feel Koplo and Toxic Dev!, that uses her signature introspective pop sound to reintroduce dangdut, a grassroots dance music genre from Indonesia.
Other Southeast Asian talents topping the bill are Thai-Italian singer-songwriter Valentina Ploy and Filipino electronic producer Lustbass, best known for his effortless chillwave style of music.
Joining them will be up-and-coming Singapore-based pop artist ALICIA DC, with Malaysian indie rock group Terrer and Cambodian collective La Cima Cartel. Accompanying them will be Malaysian six-piece rock band Capt'n Trips and the Kid, who will be shredding on stage with their signature alternative indie flair.
In addition to the regional acts, AXEAN 2025 boasts a long list of coveted international artists who will be taking the stage—including Mongolian art-rock experimentalists Blindfold, South Korean indie quartet Confined White, and Chinese math-rock band Shanghai Quitian.
Alongside those performances will be South Korean five-piece act SIMILE LAND, French noise rock band Johnny Mafia, and Japanese soul-funk adventurists Billyrrom.
With this expansive lineup that includes 43 artists representing over a dozen countries and territories, AXEAN Festival 2025 represents a plethora of different genres, musical styles, and sounds from indie pop to hip-hop and folk.

The festival aims to break down the genre and language barrier that may end up barring this generation's youth from exploring new musical directions and tones.
As AXEAN Festival co-founder and team leader Piyapong Muenprasertdee puts it, “Music today is more fluid and borderless than ever, and this creates incredible opportunities for artists from all corners of the world to connect with new listeners. At AXEAN Festival, we aim to be a platform that champions this spirit of discovery and cross-cultural understanding.
He also expresses his sentiment behind new additions to the festival, saying, "We’re especially excited to debut a new segment focused on electronic artists who incorporate their local cultural influences—creating genre-defying, globally relevant music that still feels deeply rooted.”
AXEAN Festival 2025 prides itself on its ability to tip its hat to Bali’s rich cultural identity—celebrating it through curated experiences and the local market, now bigger and better, that will feature Balinese food, art, and products. These features make AXEAN 2025 a melting pot of culture that allows attendees to connect more deeply with the island’s creative community.
