Japanese virtual artist KAF is back with not one, but two powerful tracks — teaming up with CHiCO for the latest and most ambitious entry in her Suite Series project. The double release, ‘Break Out’ and ‘Story Tellers’, explores the layered realities of womanhood, voiced through rich emotional storytelling and striking vocal performances.
What makes this release stand out is the duality at its core. Where previous Suite Series entries presented a single track, this time KAF and CHiCO go head-to-head with their own perspectives. ‘Break Out’, penned by hitmaker Ryujin Kiyoshi, pushes a bold, forward-looking message.
In contrast, ‘Story Tellers’ draws on emotional introspection, supported by members of SPYAIR, one of Japan’s beloved rock outfits.
It’s not just a sonic evolution — it’s personal. Both tracks see KAF reaching deeper than ever, reflecting on her identity while letting CHiCO's expressive energy add new dimensions to the mix. If you're a fan of her previous work with HoneyWorks, this collab takes things even further.
The songs land in the middle of an action-packed summer for KAF. She’s fresh off her first-ever North American show at Anime Central in Chicago and a stop at Jakarta’s Anime Festival Asia. Most recently, she performed at Expo 2025 Osaka alongside Mori Calliope, where the duo revealed a joint single dropping in July. Catch her next at Fantastic Reality in Los Angeles on 3 July.
