WATCH: Forests hike a Coney Island forest to perform 'Tamago' for Bandwagon Sessions

As it stands at the moment, Forests' debut LP via Lithe Records, Sun Eat Moon Grave Party, is a definite contender for local album of the year.

Their distinctive emo-math sound is rousing, anguished, lively, heartbroken and everything in between, which is why they were one of our first picks to film for the return of Bandwagon Sessions.

Much like JAWN's nature-bound mobile performance in Mount Faber during our previous episode, we thought it'd be intriguing to see Forests play around in actual forest. Here we see the band de-amplified and stripped-down for their early-morning trek through rugged Coney Island, but as we expected, the boys are no less impassioned or energetic.

Watch this incredibly fun edition of Bandwagon Sessions below.
