After a long 13 year break without releasing music, the band effectively ended their musical hiatus by dropping their album A WAVE THAT WILL NEVER BREAK on 10 April. Each of the seven tracks on the album represented the growth and that signature sonic spark that the group harboured through each release, shining bright years later.

Sticking to the emotional significance of the record, it was created in the attic of a friend's book shop. While the set up was new, the strings of the guitar that their fingers pressed against left new imprints in their skin, the impact of each drum beat leaving a deeper more prominent bruise now, the passion and creativity for the music they were producing was electrifying, leading to the birth of not just an album but a reunion.

Gifted with the innate ability to breathe life into the big and rich music that they create through the intuitive lyricism, the captivating vocals and lush production, they return once again with the same raw, unapologetic authenticity that fans have valued all along. Their show in Singapore is definitely not one to be missed as it is a showcase of their rebirth, playing some of their newest hits that show how far they've come, and some older classics that take you back to the very roots of WU LYF.
