South Korean pianist and composer Yiruma is finally setting foot on the Singapore Stage once again, after a five-year wait. Yiruma Live in Singapore is happening on 15 April 2023 at The Star Theater.
Best known for his compositions 'Kiss The Rain' and 'River Flows In You,' Yiruma is said to be one of the world's leading composer-pianists, with millions globally performing his pieces, including actors like Singapore's Paige Chua.
His singles have also received over two billion streams. In early 2020, his album The Best Reminiscent 10th Anniversary topped the Billboard Classical Albums chart for 23 weeks.
Since then, the pianist has released Room with a View, a personal EP. In 2021, he released two albums in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his debut recording: The Rewritten Memories and SOLO. Fans can expect to hear the tunes from Yiruma's newer albums, as well as his more familiar pieces, during the concert.
Tickets to Yiruma Live in Singapore 2023 are priced at SGD 98 and go on sale on 10 October 2022 at 3:00 PM SGT via SISTIC. (Those who previously purchased tickets for Yiruma's scheduled show in 2020 will have the chance to buy tickets on 7 October 2022 at 10 AM.)
