ZEROBASEONE hits a milestone releasing debut full length album 'NEVER SAY NEVER' & 'ICONIK' music video

One of the most promising names in the fifth generation of K-pop, ZEROBASEONE is finally here with their first-ever full-length record, NEVER SAY NEVER, alongside a visually spectacular music video to support the title track 'ICONIK'.

Since their 2023 debut, the nonet have proved themselves with every track, and every new release has helped them get closer to uncovering their signature ZB1 sound. NEVER SAY NEVER definitely shows off their trademark genre-blending sounds as the tracks incorporate genres from dance pop to R&B. The album also reinvents the band as they add their own unique twist to being "mature, powerful, and fresh," showing off a deeper, more developed musical direction and vocal evolution on this record.

The album's pre-release single 'SLAM DUNK' stayed true to its name—being a great first glimpse into the rest of the album as it merges electronic and hip-hop elements together, weaving it with basketball euphemisms such as 'Get your head in the game' to capture the song's message of motivating fans to break the rules.

The title track of the album, 'ICONIK', emphasizes each member's one-of-a-kind charisma. The lyrics use metaphors that represent defying gravity and reaching the moon to capture the message of preserving your own individuality no matter what others might say and always own it to emerge iconic.

The music video released alongside the track brings its infectious groove to life, following the members through an airport departure hall, a futuristic city, and even the moon. With space-age, dazzling visuals that mirror the lyrics about defying gravity and blasting off, the video perfectly captures the song’s message for fans.

Overall, the album overflows with ZEROBASEONE's thirst to try new things and hit more new milestones in the near future. Staying on that path, they have announced their second world tour, HERE&NOW, that will visit countries such as South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
