Running in conjunction with Singapore: Inside Out, the SGMUSO Live Showcase was an initiative to extend and enhance the export effort of promising Singapore musicians internationally in a collaboration between The Music Society, Singapore (SGMUSO) and Singapore Tourism Board After a successful tour of Beijing, London and New York City in 2015, SGMUSO Live Showcase will make its homecoming return at Tan Quee Lan Street from 27th Nov to 6th Dec 2015, with live performances by Caracal, Charlie Lim, Pleasantry, SA, Take Two, THELIONCITYBOY and guest artist, Vandetta.
The homecoming showcase will feature all alumni acts (with the exception of Gentle Bones) with the added bonus of special collaborations with visual artists, NMA, SSYSTM and Amanda Tan/Empyreal.
Charlie’s genre-bending virtuosity matched with Take Two’s pop sensibility will provide an energetic closer to the busy weekend at Singapore: Inside Out. SSYSTM is no stranger to the music scene, he has worked with countless acts from iNCH to Intriguant to Pleasantry to Chok Kerong, adding a suitable visual accompaniment to any musician he works with and will bring a unique edge to the performances of Take Two and Charlie Lim.
