Ujikaji’s Music Rooms installation has been offering to audiences in Beijing, London, and New York City the sounds of Singapore NOW, ranging from raucous rock, gentle folk and electronica, to bleeding-edge experimental. Through an immersive video and listening stations, Music Rooms has been introducing Singapore to the world through its music talents.
For Singapore: Inside Out’s grand return to Singapore, we present seven of these musicians “in the flesh” through three nights of intense concerts that unveil the diversity of Singapore’s popular music scene. Music performances by Hell Low, Pastelpower, the Psalms, Awk Wah, Lost Weekend, Bani Haykal, and Tiramisu will be accompanied by the live video-mixing of artist Wu Jun Han, who also created the psychedelic video featured prominently in Music Rooms.
