Budak Pantai

They have been entertaining Singapore for 20 years and now feel like the must retire from the public service. Celebrate their quirky songs (and the last show) down at the Esplanade. You can expect awkward dancing, politically incorrect jabbering and a lot of humour that everyone can enjoy. 

RedDot BrewHouse @ Dempsey

Still boasts the most romantic setting out of all the other branches, RedDot at Dempsey is housed in a large colonial house and surrounded by lush greenery. The courtyard is lighted up with fairy lights and lamps hanging from trees. There is live music to accompany your dining experience, but stay to watch the acts while you down some pints. 

Taylor Swift

Indulge in guilty pleasures as you both belt out lyrics to her adolescent-tinged music. Famed to roll out the mega sets and put on a grand show with several costume changes for her concerts, this will be quite the experience, fan, secret fan, or not. 

Ellie Goulding 

Back again in Singapore for an even bigger show, Britpop sensation Ellie Goulding is back with a no. 1 album and even more songs to play for you. A passionate and captivating performer, Ellie is going to be more spectacular and better the second time around.

B28

With a maximum holding capacity of 50, you know it's going to be a little intimate. B28 is the place for you if you are a whiskey aficionado or a cocktail connoisseur, and a fan of good jazz. Luxe interior, warm lights, and even a dress code, you'd succumb to the old school charm of this basement bar.  

The Queen and Mangosteen

Facing the waterfront and Sentosa, tuck into a hearty meal while enjoying the seabreeze with your +1. Located at Vivocity, Queen and Mangosteen serves gourmet British pub food with a selection of craft beer and decent selection of alcohol, ah the British. A cup of Pimms' and some great live music - the makings of a great date night.

SULTAN JAZZ CLUB

Sophisticated and swanky, here is where you want to bring your date to if you're looking for a night of high culture. Dim with the sultry sounds of jazz in the background, a fine, quiet night out is guaranteed for you and your date. 

BluJaz

A popular watering hole for the after work crowd, BluJaz is great for a casual dinner date. With three storeys, you can choose your vibe with every floor. Always hosting a great musical act on most nights, it is the perfect place to chill and loosen up. 

Coastes

Right on Siloso Beach, Coastes is idyllic and ideal for a day on the beach. Come for brunch of generous portions by the seaside and some sunbathing later (there are sunbeds), and stay for the music they have on some nights. Remember to make use of the beach bar for some delightful coolers and beers. 

The Mad Men Attic Bar

We know the after work hustle and bustle is no time to be thinking of dating and romancing, but come on up to the Mad Men Attic Bar located at Canal Road. Wind down after a day in the dreary office with a good meal of gourmet pub grub, with cocktails, wine or beer - and the live music is also a bonus.
