Identite is a regular series that features the different genres of local music with their platform that showcases up and coming local acts, as well as the usual suspects. The lineup for this instalment is no less eclectic - there is a mix of hardcore, acoustic, as well as experimental. 

Grind with Special Guest Marcoweibel | 31 Jan

Gem Bar is probably one of the most hip joint around town these days so pop by the Ann Siang area to catch DJ Marco Weibel who is part of the Darker Than Wax label and who also performed at ZoukOut last year. Spanning over genres such as Jazz, Hiphop, Soul, Boogie, House and beyond, there's gonna be a wide variety of frequencies to dance to. 

Rahul Advani & Govin Tan | 1 - 2 Feb

If Top 40s music and radio favourite tracks are your thing, you can avoid the crowded and rowdy bars and pubs to catch Rahul and Govin at the Esplanade. Performing a mix of originals and medleys, the duo, along with some friends will belt out some familiar tunes by Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson and more! 

Enter The Void Deck | 1 Feb

Chill out from the stuffiness of traditions and come down to the Aliwal Arts Centre in the Arab Street precinct for a night of Hiphop, street culture, new talent, and sick beats. The night also features the enigmatic Fauxe, who will also be performing his brand of nostalgia tinged chillwave music. 

Sultan Jazz Club presents Dylan Foster | 1 Feb

Bringing you a night of soul/funk music with a jazz edge is the swanky Sultan Jazz Club. Ex Flying Pickets frontman will be performing just for the night, with his equally talented friends. You can always trust Sultan Jazz for the best acts in the genre, and it wouldn't hurt to kick back your heels from all the visiting with a glass of wine or whiskey.
