5 Reasons Why You Should Go To Shut Up & Listen 2014

In the last year, the Shut Up & Listen (SUL) lineup presented to you by Live Empire has boasted the likes of Anberlin and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, focusing more on the pop-punk and alternative rock sound. BANDWAGON TV

G’day Mate

To power up the lineup, we have three bands from Australia to spearhead the festival. Experimental post-hardcore act Hands Like Houses, and punk-rock bands Avastera and Here Come The Cavalry will ensure that you keep up with four-hour mini festival. 

Unity in Diversity

Moving on from showcasing just one genre, SUL will also present Kawehi and Monster Cat to add a little eclecticism to the mix. Keeping it all-rounded right we see. 

One-man band machine

She made her big break on YouTube by putting together really creative covers of brilliant songs. The multi-instrumentalist and looping expert has worked her magic on tracks by Michael Jackson, Nirvana, and also her original stuff. 

SG Represent 

Our own Indie/alternative band Monster Cat will be taking centre stage this Saturday and will be showcasing their new lineup. This will only be the second time they’ve performed with a brand new set of musicians and from what we know, it’s really good.
