A Not So Dangerous Fest showcases melodic hardcore bands from Singapore and Malaysia

As many will recall, Dangerous Goods recently held their inaugural edition of Dangerous Fest at Aliwal Arts Centre earlier this year. Anchored by the label's incredible roster of bands, the all-day festival proved to be a wonderful banner for Singapore's hardcore punk and heavy music community.

Probably inspired by Dangerous Fest's tremendous success, a brand new festival has now popped up called A Not So Dangerous Fest. Billed as a showcase for melodic hardcore - this huge gig gathers some of the best outfits within the genre's thriving local scene.

Bands featured on the bill include special guests Transitions all the way from Kuala Lumpur, alongside Singaporean standouts such as Tides, Exhibitors, Safeguard, Virtues, Isles and False Plaintiff.

In addition, freshly-formed band Milestones (made up of members from Fame, Emily in Denial and more) will also be making their highly-anticipated live debut at the show.
