Sure we might be too old to be excited for Children's Day and Halloween, but the list of upcoming gigs have certainly got us in a party mood. First up is the latest installation of Good Times which is helmed by none other than our very own Hidzir Junaini. And we can't wait to sweat it out at the punk gigs - Punkadelia and The Garden. Good Times: The HidZ FM Edition Vol.2

Curated by Bandwagon’s very own writer Hidzir Junaini, this upcoming edition of our local underground electronic party Good Times promises to be a blast. Celebrating his long awaited return to the world of music journalism, the former JUICE Singapore music editor has gathered some of biggest names in the local electronic scene – namely William J, Gema, Intriguant and Young Spice! Be there or be square.

White Magic Sunset 

Having played at festivals such as Sonar and Ultra, Argentinean DJ duo Silver City’s brand of disco and house has been featured on the likes of DFA, Under the Shade and K7 compilations. Together with fellow Argentine deep house and nu-disco DJ Adrian Giordano, they will no doubt satisfy all the sun kissed party goers at Tanjong Beach Club.

Punkadelia

Attempting to resurrect the local mini music festivals of yesteryears, Punkadelia is hoping to keep punk fans’ eardrums ringing and smiles up with this 14-act strong bill. Featuring the likes of The Bois, Eyun, Kate of Kale and much more, you don’t want to miss this chance to mosh it up with likeminded fans.

Dancel Danao Dumas 

A triple bill performance of singer songwriters; Johnoy Danao, Bullet Dumas and Ebe Dancel will serve up a medley of rock originals and covers to keep you company on a Saturday night. You will find no lack on of passionate playing and intense vocals at this gig.

The Garden

Here for their maiden concert, American neo-punk duo The Garden are sure to excite music fans with their minimalistic raw take on the genre. Their 2012 debut album The Life And Times Of A Paperclip is enough evidence that these two identical twin brothers are not to be missed.

Yuna 

Ah, what hasn’t been said about this enchanting singer songwriter from our neighbour to the north? The soulful vocal diva recently wowed audiences with her performance at the AFC Asian Cup closing ceremony, so don’t miss the chance to catch Yuna perform songs off her new album Material!

John McLaughlin & The 4th Dimension 

Listed as one of Rolling Stone magazine’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”, veteran guitar virtuosic John McLaughlin returns to Singapore for a one-night only concert with his band The 4th Dimension. Known for his blazing speed and technical guitar solos, you don’t want to miss the musician who has worked with the likes of Miles Davis, Chick Corea and Georgie Fame!

Paloma Faith 

Known for her retro eccentric musical styling, English pop and jazz singer Paloma Faith have had quite the year so far. In town for an intimate performance as part of the WTA Year-End Player Awards Show, Faith clinched the “British Female Solo Artist” title at this year’s Brit Award. Fans will be eager to see if she drops any new materials from her upcoming fourth album which she let slipped during her Glastonbury performance earlier in the year.
