Every week, Bandwagon invites a guest to do a mix for us. Rather than a standard interview where the artist explains their influences, we figured it’d be more potent if you simply listened to the music.

Recorded on a cliff on picturesque Pont Naturel - this week's stunning Bandwagon Mix is a two-hour live effort from adventurous DJ and producer Avneesh. Initially played at 8am to a warm and receptive sunrise rave crowd - this set is an otherworldly expedition of epic proportions. Spiritual, cosmic and full of surprising turns - the Mauritian mindfully guides us through deep house, experimental electronica, tribal rhythms, leftfield techno, Middle Eastern delights, soulful jazz and everything in between.

As one of the leading figures in creative agency electrocaïne, Avneesh will be heading up the outfit's huge 10th anniversary festival on Port Louis, Mauritius this weekend, where sound and visual savants will meet, dance and make merry. If you're lucky enough to be on that idyllic island, its certainly an event you need to check out. Featuring global acts like Simbad and BoogzBrown, alongside visualists like Lucas Burrows and VJ Hoax (among many others) - it promises to be a  experience not unlike this mix.
