Belinda Carlisle to celebrate 30th anniversary of iconic album in Singapore

Belinda Carlisle is coming back to Singapore for a special reason.

While Belinda Carlisle has been at it for four decades, initially as the lead singer of The Go-Gos and a member of punk pioneers The Germs, her career as a bonafide pop star was cemented with her sophomore album Heaven On Earth, churning out the 80s anthem 'Heaven Is A Place On Earth' amongst other successful singles.

In 2017, thirty years after its release, Carlisle is now set on a world tour celebrating the album, and she'll be coming to Singapore as part of the festivities.

Taking place at The Star Theatre on November 11th, Carlisle's return is a welcome move amidst tremendous 80s nostalgia (along with her signature song's tremendous resonance in a recent Black Mirror episode), and no doubt her show will be a wonderfully retrospective one — albeit focused on her 30-year-old pop masterwork.
