Another one of our 20 Most Anticipated Local Albums of 2016 is almost upon us, and we can't wait for this self-assured Singaporean songstress to finally unveil her long-gestating debut LP. Yes, highly touted singer-songwriter bittymacbeth is set to launch her Beauty For Ashes album on Tuesday, 31 May at the wonderfully intimate Esplanade Recital Studio.
The much-anticipated release is coming on the heels of a pair of immensely catchy lead singles in 'Haters Gon' Hate' (watch the vibrant video here) and 'Californian Dream' (featuring Dru Chen), so you can probably expect more originals along the same soul-pop and funk spectrum. She's proven she can be technical and accessible at the same time ('Californian Dream' recently charted at #4 on Singapore's Apple Music R&B/Soul charts), so we're definitely looking forward to seeing how her freshman full-length effort shapes up.
Tickets for the Beauty For Ashes album launch go on sale at noon this Friday (18 March), and you can snap them up exclusively via Peatix.
