Blink-182 is back in the studio.
The trio of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Matt Skiba are working on new music, taking to social media over the past couple of days to share images of recording sessions. It has new been revealed that the band has also collaborated on a track with none other than EDM hit-makers The Chainsmokers.
The Chainsmokers took to Twtiter to announce the the collaboration, stating: "Just did a session with blink182 and wrote an amazing song. We can die happy now". The announcement has since been met with mixed reception. A fan later asked Hoppus why they decided to collaborate with The Chainsmokers, to which Hoppus replied: “We’ve been friends with them for a few years and have tried to collaborate a bunch of different times, but today our schedules aligned and we were all in the room at the same time.”
Most recently, Blink-182 released California in 2016.
