BLKD and Calix release political collaborative album KOLATERAL – listen

The KOLATERAL compilation album is finally here, and you can get it for free.

On Saturday (06/29), local hip-hop artists BLKD and Calix announced the online debut of their 12-track political record KOLATERAL. The compilation features Kartell'Em, Muro Ami, Tatz Maven, Tao, and more, who aim to criticize the Philippine Drug War through tracks backed by "real data and narratives."

"It is the product of two years' worth of research and artistic collaboration," they write in a statement. "The data that informs the songs have been gathered from media reports and key informant interviews from communities at the front line of the Drug War."

In a tweet, Calix announced that physical copies of Kolateral will not be released. Get the album for free here.
