Caroline Polacheck has gone through several phases and projects throughout her career. 

There was Ramona Lisa – an electronic music project of sorts, PEC – an ambient side project, and most famously, the now defunct indie pop outfit Chairlift. Now, Polachek has returned with a new self-titleed solo project with which she explores a theme in music that she hasn't done throughout her creative career: Romance

To introduce her new project, Polacheck has released her first single, 'Door', as well as it's accompanying music video. It still sounds very much like the Polachek we're all familiar with, but it's interesting to see her tackle something more airy and significant. As for the music video, it's kaleidoscopic and multidimensional, giving the already spacey track an even more whimsical feel that elevates the whole experience.
