As expected, CÉ LA VI’s resident DJs — namely DJ Brendon P, Joshua P, Ramesh K and Anand — will be holding down the fort behind the decks. But as a special bonus, they've also booked a fine line-up of locally-based DJs to headline their patriotic bill.
From Tropical Temple's Bhayology with his Caribbean tunes and the renowned Kenneth F to boogie master Marvin Gold (aka Pushin'On's Hafez Masterpiece) and hip-hop favourite DJ Titus - they've certainly got their bases covered. In addition, we've also got MUGIC's acclaimed house purveyor Ulysses alongside live instrumentation from Darker Than Wax's Kaye on saxophone and Munir on guitars!
But besides the beats, the all-day party will be heavy with Singapura specialty BBQ and bites as well! Their daytime menu presents choices of Singapore’s favourite dishes including chicken or lamb satay prepared with CÉ LA VI’s house signature peanut sauce, cucumber, and onion, BBQ Char siew pork ribs served with hoisin sauce and pickled vegetables, Crispy mantou and chilli crab. The National Day Platter includes Chicken Satay, Lamb Satay, BBQ pork ribs, Pie Tee, Popiah, Crispy mantou chilli crab at $25.
It'll be an event for the whole family, so attendees can also participate in nostalgic interactive games such as Old Maid cards and Pick-up sticks!
