Come celebrate local art and music with these two events happening this month.
Hosted by Chill Sessions and multi-disciplinary extraordinaire, Deborah Emmanuel, four local artists, each well-respected in their fields, get together to celebrate the spoken word and psychedelic music. Deborah and Shivram Gopinath, will bring the power of the of poetry to life, while music will be provided by carnatic slide guitarist Isuru Wijesoma and Mantravine producer Rupak George. Tickets for this show will support these artists' performances at Atman Festival, Sri Lanka and LuminateN Festival, New Zealand in 2019.
Additionally, head down to The Esplanade Outdoor Theatre for Mantravine's three-set performance to celebrate a remarkable year of music.
Music and Spoken Word Sessions will be happening on Sunday, 9 December, at Al Capone's Far East Shopping Centre from 5 to 8pm. Get your tickets and more information here.
