Chicago house legend Roy Davis Jr. to headline Canvas

Riverwalk nightlife establishment Canvas will be bringing down beloved Illinois-born electronic music luminary Roy Davis Jr. next week (Saturday, 19 November), for a special edition of their house-centric series Foundation.

Renowned for his transcendent 1996 single 'Gabriel' and his storied discography on underground labels like Defected, Strictly Rhythm, King Street Sounds and XL Recordings - Roy Davis Jr. has certainly earned his place in the Chicago house pantheon alongside his inspirations Lil' Louis, DJ Pierre, Farley Keith and Marshall Jefferson.

Best known for blending strains garage, disco, R&B, house, hip-hop and soul - his warm dance floor sound remains something truly magical.

Roy Davis Jr.'s forthcoming Singapore set will also be supported Canvas' other Roy and Meshradio's Ramesh
