David Tao, the godfather of R&B in Mandopop, will be returning to Singapore next year for the Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts 2020. This follows his headlining show last year.
With six Golden Melody Awards and seven albums to his name, he has not only successfully introduced R&B to Mandopop, but also created a distinctive, cross-genre blend of blues and rock. Some of his classic hits include 'Airport 10.30', 'Blue Moon', 'Close to You' and 'Black Tangerine'.
The Freshman, Singapore female folk-pop duo, will be the opening act for his show.
DT in Harmony is set to take place at the Esplanade Concert Hall on Saturday, 1 February, at 7.30pm.
