The publication VICE opened its doors in Indonesia (disclaimer: I write for them on a freelance basis) in November of 2016, but its official launch — and I didn't use this world lightly, since DJs and maybe fireworks are involved — is set for July 1 and 2 at Potato Head Beach Club, Bali, featuring DJ Harvey, Trevor Jackson, Dea, Zatua and ISLAND OF THE GODS. 

The Weekender, as VICE announces on its Facebook account, "features a diverse setlist of live music and DJ sets by some of the most-exciting acts from across the globe." It's a free-entry show and will feature an exhibition of art and video works.
